Maseno University is proud to announce that Odera Akang\u2019o Campus has received full accreditation from the Commission for University Education (CUE) as Campus of Maseno University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This significant milestone follows a series of strategic developments over the past decade. The Campus, located in Yala, Siaya County, was initially established by Moi University and named after Ruoth Odera Akang\u2019o, a revered Luo leader and historical figure. It functioned as a Moi University Campus until July 2021, when it was formally handed over to Maseno University in a ceremony presided over by key education stakeholders. Those who graced the event were Prof. Julius Nyabundi, Vice-Chancellor of Maseno University; Prof. Isaac Sanga Kosgei, Vice- Chancellor of Moi University; and the late Prof. George Magoha, then Cabinet Secretary for Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the transition, Maseno University has worked diligently to strengthen the academic and administrative structures at Odera Akang\u2019o Campus. With the CUE\u2019s full accreditation now in place, the campus is fully recognized under the umbrella of Maseno University, enabling it to offer a broader range of accredited academic programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
