I can testify that PGDE is an interesting course anchored at your pace and comfort zone.
I can testify that PGDE is an interesting course anchored at your pace and comfort zone. I enrolled in this course when I got a job opportunity abroad in April 2022. I have learnt and gained quite a number of insights not limited to; BeIng online as much as possible, Doing all the assignments and exams in time., commiting your financial obligation, Being kind to all the students and faculty. During my tenure, I interacted with my supervisor who advised that you must be ready to be corrected, be in good books with support staff as possible and devolop a contact list for all personnel involved and be positive in your engagements. Graduating in this program is a nice experience worth struggling for. Above all God first in all what you do.

I enrolled for a PGDE in September 2023 ,after an exciting teaching journey in Ethiopia.
I enrolled for a PGDE in September 2023 ,after an exciting teaching journey in Ethiopia. At first it seemed an impossible task to finish the course within the one year but so far I can tell everyone that it is possible. What motivated me are my few colleagues and the support staff that guided me along the way. PGDE is indeed a good pathway for one to become a professional teacher. What is needed is sticking to timelines , cordial relationship with supervisors and teachers. I can confidently go into the world prepared adequately by Maseno PGDE program.

I want to allude that embarking on the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) program at Maseno University
I want to allude that embarking on the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) program at Maseno University has been an enlightening and transformative journey. It has reshaped my understanding of education, equipping me with the tools and confidence to positively impact the lives of learners. The one year program is a combination of theoretical frameworks and practical application offering a well-rounded perspective on teaching. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my supervisor, Dr. Dawo Irene, for her immense support and guidance throughout this journey. Her expertise and encouragement were invaluable in helping me navigate the program`s demands. I also deeply appreciate my colleagues for their cooperation and shared commitment to learning. While the one year journey had its challenges, such as balancing rigorous coursework with personal commitments, the rewards far outweighed the obstacles. Completing the PGDE has been a life-changing experience that has prepared me to inspire, empower, and educate future generations with confidence and purpose.

I would recommend the Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at Maseno University to anyone that has aspirations to become a teacher/educator
I would recommend the Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at Maseno University to anyone that has aspirations to become a teacher/educator. It gives you the skills needed through observations and course work, which challenges your thought process and get you to think out of the box. The course content delivered has prepared me with the professional knowledge, skills, competence, and as a result the confidence needed to be successful in my teaching placements. I have honestly met the most supportive Lecturers and Learner Support Assistants I have ever come across in my education: these staff are dedicated to help you succeed and to be your best possible self; they’re even there for someone just to chat to on a personal support level. Lastly i`ve made a great group of friends.
